At Springboard Nursery we pride ourselves on our positive relationships with our families. We recognise that working together with parents and carers is a vital way for us all to learn effectively. Taking part in our Family Learning days and sessions are a great way to do this!
From the moment you contact us at Springboard Nursery we hope you feel welcome and valued. We will offer for you and your child to come along and meet the team as well as a full visit to look around the environment to ensure we are the right setting for you and your family. After you choose us as your new childcare setting we will complete registration forms with you either at your home or in the nursery setting- This helps us to get to know what is important to your child and to you! We will then arrange some free Settling In sessions for your child for them to come along and get to know us before they start. When your child is ready to begin their nursery journey we will set up a Tapestry account for you to access at home, this is a lovely way for you to keep updated with your child’s development and daily routines while away from them.
Live Library Session
At Springboard Nursery we are passionate about early reading development. We are excited to let you know that our popular Live Library sessions are returning and will be happening each term.
This is a lovely way to share a story with your child, read by one of our nursery practitioners in our cosy nursery environment.
As well as Live Library sessions we will also be opening our nursery Lending Library in the Autumn Term, where children are invited to borrow a book every fortnight to read at home.
Diwali- Festival of Light
Thank you so much to everyone who came along to our Festival of Light to celebrate the Hindu festival of Diwali. We had a wonderful evening sharing authentic Indian food, creating Diya lamps and Rangoli patterns and lighting up the garden with different lanterns and sparklers.
